Shipping and Transportation Terms

  • Shipping

Shipping may be arranged at the Buyer's sole expense and risk. Any third-party courier or transport service utilized by the Buyer must be a carrier with established experience in the humane transportation of live animals and must be formally approved by the Seller in writing prior to final booking.

The Seller reserves the absolute and sole right to veto or disapprove any shipping method, carrier, or transport timeline proposed by the Buyer if, in the Seller's professional judgment, the proposed arrangements pose an unacceptable risk to the health or welfare of the Animal. Should the Seller disapprove the arrangements, the Buyer must propose alternative transport or arrange for a personal Pick-Up.

  • Picking up

All animals must be picked up in person from our facility in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. Pick-up is available by appointment only, which must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance after the purchase has been finalized and payment has been received in full. The Buyer agrees to retrieve the animal(s) within seven (7) calendar days of the sale date unless alternative arrangements are made in writing. Failure to schedule a pick-up within this timeframe may result in the forfeiture of any deposit and the animal being offered to another buyer.

The Buyer assumes full responsibility for arranging safe, secure, and legal transportation for their new animal. The Buyer must arrive with a species-appropriate transport carrier that is clean, secure, and provides adequate ventilation and climate control for the duration of the journey. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse the transfer of an animal if the provided transportation is deemed unsafe, inhumane, or inadequate. Once the animal is placed in the Buyer's possession and leaves our property, the Seller is no longer liable for its health, safety, or well-being.
